Moving.....
Hi :)
I’m still here, have just been fairly busy and not had time to blog! One thing I am doing is slowly moving my blog over to blogger again. It is taking a while as they don’t have an import function so I have to copy and paste almost 3 years worth of posts!!! I know! And I will lose all of the comments you gorgeous gals have left me, but I figure that I can’t keep paying the money each year just to keep the comments :(
So once I’ve finished transferring, I’ll try and post more often :)
Sydney was great;
but I love my home!! Sorry to all you Sydney people, but I couldn’t live there! Think I must be a country gal at heart after all ;) Fab place to visit though!!
So we had a full on, exhausting, busy but fun time :) I won’t do a complete rundown of the whole trip cause that’s just boring to everyone else lol but I’ll do a little point form ;) And just watch your step as you will have to step over the names I’ll be dropping!!
*Caught up with lots of family and old family friends of Clints’.
*Travelled on the RiverCat and looked at all the mansions!
*Saw Kate Cebrano but didn’t want to invade her space (she was in a rush and checking out of a hotel). She is totally gorgeous and SO much smaller than she appears on TV!!
*Just missed meeting Peter Garrett! An old family friend of Clint’s is one of his ‘main peeps’ and when we caught up with her he had *just* gone into a meeting :(
*Spent a day at Taronga Zoo (which BTW was a lovely distraction on Mother’s Day)
*Went and saw ‘Sunrise’ being filmed (and got on TV!!!) and met Kochie, Mel, Nat & Simon and got pics.
*Also saw Kylie and Larry from ‘The morning show’ but we were really just staying to see Ian Moss perform and wait for him to come out to meet him! And that he did :) Got a pic of course :)
*Went to a Gold Class cinema to see ‘What Happens in Vegas’ with Ashton Kucher and Cameron Diaz (love her)- very funny!
*Had a visit to Bondi Beach- I had to go and stand on the sand even though it was cold lol!
*Did LOTS of walking to the point where it felt like my arches had literally collapsed! Only just getting better now and we’ve been home for 4 days lol
*With that walking came LOTS of window shopping along with a few nice purchases (including 5 more additions to my Pandora bracelet)
*Lots of good food, good wine, good coffee.
That’s about it really, without going into detail! Just want to mention that for anyone who watches Sunrise, that the girls are just beautiful! The TV really does not show how gorgeous they are. And they were just lovely to boot :) And Kylie from The Morning Show is stunning.
I have lots of pics, but I’ll just post my fave from Taronga;

What a view these Giraffes get, gazing over at the Harbour Bridge and Opera House all day lol!
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend- it’s just started to rain here and it sounds lovely on the tin roof :)
**EDITED TO ADD- this is now being posted Sunday lunchtime cause that rain turned into a storm which blacked us out right when I was about to hit ‘save’ on my post!!! Luckily because of the laptop battery power I was able to put it on standby and not lose my post- phew!
xx
Just quickly;
We’re heading off to Sydney tomorrow morning for a week, so if I don’t respond to emails etc that is why! Catch you next week :)
xx
Home
Well I am home from my little visit with Rachie and her most utterly adorably family. I had a wonderful time, despite being under the weather and both Rachie and I having major coughing fits everytime we laughed (which was quite often I might add!). I also sustained a Wii injury lol, and ended up playing left handed! But dang that thing is a load of fun!
So now not only am I in love with Rachie, but also Matty, Eric, Zara and Merlin (the poochie). What an amazing little family! The cuddly little Zara gave up her room and bed just for me, complete with a handmade welcome sign on the door and a bag full of drawings and a crown made for me. And Eric was very protective after learning how late we were going to bed (and how early I wake) and ordered Rach to make sure I had an early night beacuse ‘5 hours sleep is not nearly enough for Rozzie’….how sweet is that!?!! And Matty, well, I’ll just say that my ribs and lungs are still hurting from Singstar and his antics on the first night! ‘auschlatters!!!’ LMAO! And of course, Rachie was divine as always and I really did try to put her in my bag at the airport to come home. Oh I could go on forever singing their praises :) Miss you all :(
I also met Rachie’s friend, the delightful Fran, and her 4 beautiful little girls! So cute! Was nice to meet you :)
THANK YOU for everything Mr & Mrs Wyndham, I am truly blessed to have you in my life :)
We’re off to see the Foo Fighters tomorrow night, so looking forward to that even though we are riiiiiiiight at the back lol!
Have a great week all xx
Excited is an understatement!
On Thursday morning I am flying to Canberra to spend a few days with my precious Rachie!!!! It has all been a kinda last minute rush thing but it has all worked out and I am almost bursting in anticipation!
Thursday is Rachie’s 21st birthday ;) so we are celebrating that, and I am sure we will be doing a lot of chilling, a lot of eating, a lot of drinking, and especially a lot of laughing! :) And on top of that, I finally get to meet her beautiful little people and her hunky man (well, so she tells me lol)
But in true pre-holiday fashion, I have managed to catch a headcold :( So far it’s not *too* bad, hopefully by Thursday the worst of it will be gone.
Have a great week everyone, catch you later xx
ps. GO JACK!! (so you think you can dance ;)
8 years ago today
I married my dream man :) oh how young we look in our photos!! As our photos are all on film, this is the only one I have scanned on the computer, so it will have to do (not the best one!):

Love this man more and more everyday. He treats me like a princess!
But sadly, this day also marks 7 years of us trying to start our family :( We will get there though!
I managed to get a layout done yesterday, about Joshy’s naming day last weekend. Love the American Crafts stickers!
Have a great week xx
Dirty dogs and pretty rings
7pm last night Buddy came belting through the doggy door and did a few laps of the living area, as he does countless times a day, but this is what he looked like last night;
It was hard to get a pic of just how dirty he really was, cause he wouldn’t keep still and kept rolling over lol.
So we’re mopping floors and bathing dogs (cause he wrestled Lizzie too) while the biggest loser is on- not happy!!
Yesterday was a special day in our family, my parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary! How lovely! And they are such an inspiration to us, love them SO much :)
And here’s a photo of the ring that Clint bought me a couple of months back (as best as I could capture!)

It is mostly white gold, with the 2 diamonds next to the main setting set in yellow gold. I just love it cause it’s different!
Well I hope through everybody’s chocolate haze they have stopped to remember that Easter is really about Jesus Christ…..Our Savior……He was victorious on the cross! Trust in Him :)
Another short work week this week- enjoy!! xx
Footy and scrapping
I was so disappointed when we missed out on tickets for the Titans first game at their new stadium, especially after we went to a pre-season match the other week and got super excited to go! But then, yesterday, Clint’s sister won a double pass on the radio, but she couldn’t go…..so she gave us the tix!! So after a mad rush around 6pm we headed off to the game.
Titans flogged the Cowboys- yeah! The stadium was packed, and the ‘atmosphere was electric ’ (cliche footy commentator phrase!). The crowd was 90% full of Titans fans who were going off- and we had the most awesome Mexican wave happening, I think it did about 8-10 full laps of the stands!
I didn’t get this last night, but the other week when we went to the pre-season match we were walking in and next to us was Scott Prince, the Titans halfback and captain! I asked for a pic, and he was most obliging, friendly and not too bad on the eye either!

Am so loving that we have a local team!
So this morning saw some scrapping, finally! And I have my printer completely sorted (I think) so now I can print away whenever I want :)
Happy Saturday xx
Artificial intelligence:
Bad pic off the web cam, but you get the idea;

Yep, the blonde is goooone! I haven’t been dark for a while and I felt like a change :) Actually, I had some ‘natural’ colour right underneath at the back, and it’s quite dark, not far off the depth of this (although not as rich of course, just dull lol). Bit weird to come to terms with after being a blonde kid!
Anyway, it’s done. And Clint doesn’t know. And he hasn’t seen it yet. But he always seems to prefer brunettes, so hopefully it’s ok!!!
Have a great weekend all xx
